For the receipt of these documents, it will be considered that a preliminary verification of the manner of specifying and certifying the documents that will be sent to be legalized in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be made.
Below you will find a description of the type of document and institution that certifies each document.

• Each document received from state institutions must have round and square stamp
• Any document issued by the municipality or municipality is originally certified by the prefecture or sub-prefectures then legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• All certificates must have the seal of the Prefecture of the District (is the square seal)
• High school diplomas (university documents) must have the Rector's seal
• High school graduates should have the seal of the Education Director plus the square stamp of the Ministry of Education in Tirana
• Notarial bills (for example, a person's authorization, etc. a valid notary's document does not need to seal the institution other than the wet seal of the Dry Notary) exclude the units of various documents
• Medical reports should be stamped by the Directorate of Public Health at Around and the Ministry of Health in Tirana
• Property Certificates must be stamped by the Circular Mortgage or Chancellor
• Certification from Social Insurance should be stamped by the Social Insurance Institution in Tirana, Tirana Social Insurance Institute
• Certification from the Prosecutor's Office should be stamped by the Prosecutor or Chancellor
• Work Certificates must be stamped by the Workplace at Around, the Tirana Ministry of Labor

• The decisions of the Court must have the signature of the President or Chancellor (this should not be a photocopy), then at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• The documents of the District Police Commissariats are certified by the Director of the District Police Directorate and subsequently by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Documents of independent institutions such as the Adoption Committee, the Competition Authority, the People's Advocate etc. are certified by the person in charge of this institution and then in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Penalty evidence does not need other seals
• Documents produced by private entities as employment certificates, payments etc. are notarized by the notary, recognizing from him the copy of the author who produced the document, and then legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
1. The above documents will be translated and notarized before being sent for legalization to the Embassy of the State where they will be used. This procedure will be followed for non-member states of the Hague Convention as well as for Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain and Belgium which have their reservations on Albania's accession to this Convention.

At the moment when documents are received for stamping at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agent must complete a payment mandate that writes the name that have the documents to be stamped and how many stamps will receive the documents in total. 9. The fee for each seal to be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is 200 lek.

NOTE: All documents to be used in Hague Convention countries after receiving the APOSTILE seal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania do not need to be legalized at the Embassy of the State where they will be used but are valid only with this seal .
